I have not given up!
I know it's been a while since the last update, but I have not forgotten, and I have not given up.
I'm writing the first chapter and it's taking me a bit longer than expected...I'll post an update soon.
...until then...smoke a cigarette while you wait... :)
Another, more defined sketch of how the main protagonist should look like. :)

Prologue
Gather
around, I am about to tell you a story like none before; let us go back in time…
World
War III just ended, it lasted for eleven long years. Battles were fought on all
seven continents, on the ground and in the air, on and inside all five oceans.
In
the first year, to avoid nuclear winter, radiation and mass destruction,
leaders of nations gathered to sign a treaty. It was decided no nuclear weapons
will be used. But, as the war went on, something far worse was being developed
by human hands.
Since
the beginning of time, men sought to become gods. Always, they tried to control
nature and our planet. And one day, they finally succeeded. Unfortunately, as
it was expected, nothing good came out of it.
The
new technology was first used during the tenth year of the war. With it people
were able to create earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes and disasters of all
sorts. Many governments went too far. Havoc and chaos had spread across the
globe.
To
say the least, the results were terrifying. By the end of the war, most of once
great cities were either half destroyed or completely wiped out. Nations and
countries devastated, gone forever.
In
the end, due to the destruction of nuclear power plants, many areas were contaminated
by radioactive waste and exposed to radiation.
During
first nine years, one billion lives were lost. After the war ended, as far as
we know, population had been cut down to less than one billion. The year is
2023.
